A project out of Martinsville High School began in late April 2017 that includes about ten students from Martinsville’s MADawgs Robotics club. The students have been utilizing their robotics’ skills and on-hand materials to create a robot small enough to fit into a trunk and strong enough to pull an officer out of a dangerous situation. The students hope to complete the project by December 2017 to help support community needs. Here is a link to the article featured on WDBJ 7 TV station: MADawgs Create Police Robot.
