ISTE serves more than 100,000 education stakeholders throughout the world. In addition to their online communities, they host an annual conference usually in June.

The TTAC community sharing resources to educate students with disabilities. The Virginia Department of Education (VDOE) supports eight Training and Technical Assistance Centers (TTACs), located at Universities across the Commonwealth of Virginia, to improve educational opportunities and contribute to the success of children and youth with disabilities (birth - 22 years).

Accessible instructional materials (AIM) are printed textbooks and educational materials that are converted to alternate formats, such as Braille, large print, electronic text, and audio recordings, which are requested by a local school division for use by students with disabilities in the classroom.
